Leaf Filter is used for filteration of liquid with higher solid content in edible oil, chemical food & pharmaceutical industry The liquid passes through filter leaf leaving behind the solids in the form of a cake. The filtered liquid (filtrate, or clean effluent) exits the filter through the manifold connecting all the filter leaf. The filter cake is then discharged from the vessel either by manually or tilted by hydraulically.
